In October or November Pope Francis will publish some document, through which he will remove the excommunication of Martin Luther (+1546) according to the anonymous blog Anonimi della Croce. The problem: excommunication is the exclusion of a Catholic from the sacraments. This decision cannot be reversed in the case of Luther as he has died in the meantime.

Well..with all due respect noone knows for certain if any one particular soul is in hell. There is no time with God and He did say "whatever you declare loosed on earth is loosed in heaven." The justice and mercy of God is a mystery so if the angels cant even fathom it how could we? Guess wel know if we get to heaven the answer. God bless. "The Pope can actually remove the excommunication but it will have no moral effect

"Why do many modern Christians use the Masoretic text for the Old Testament when it was specifically created to counteract Christians spreading the Gospel message?" Here is an article that explains how it happened.

How would anyone really KNOW whether or not Luther is in hell? BUT....... Padre Pio exclaimed that Luther was indeed in hell, and Padre Pio was one of the greatest mystics and saints of the Church, so.....?? It's not like Padre Pio is not very credible. Put it this way......I would more lean toward his credibility than not.

St. Padre Pio said that Luther was in hell. Luther hated the holy sacrifice of the Mass more than anything, hence he hates the sacrifice of the second person of the Blessed Trinity. Luther is in hell and nothing Francis can say or do will ever change that. Francis must repent or he will follow Luther there one day.
