Our Lady as Queen of Preachers.
One of my favourite photos from this morning's photoshoot of the Chapel in the Priory of the Immaculate Conception, also known as the Dominican House of Studies. The brass statue of the Immaculata, who is pregnant with the Word of God, presides from the Cantors' lectern over the friars' choir. From here, as it were, she directs them to sing her song, the Magnificat, at Vespers every evening, and from here she watches over the assembled Friars Preachers, her sons.
