Another Early Retirement

Francis accepted on December 28 the resignation of Dunkeld Bishop Stephen Robson, 71, Scotland.

No reason was given for this, however, BishopPatBuckley.blog reported back in July 2022 that the Nuncio had asked Robson to resign because of alleged homosexual affairs.

When Robson was spiritual director at Rome's Scottish College (1998-2006), he was said to have had a close relationship with Christopher Morris, a dismissed seminarian who continued as a lay student. Robson allegedly knew about Morris' homosexual behaviour. Much later he endorsed his ordination to the priesthood in Motherwell diocese. The Nuncio asked Robson not to attend the 2022 ordination and he cited Covid for not doing so.

Robson allegedly had an affair with Edinburgh Cardinal Keith O’Brien (+2018), a predatory homosexual, whose Auxiliary Bishop he became in 2012. Edinburgh Cathedral Administrator Michael Regan of Edinburgh Cathedral who wanted the job, became very jealous, and claimed later to have had an affair with O’Brien on the promise to advance his career. Regan became one of O'Brien's accusers, and eventually died of AIDS.

Archbishop Leo Cushley took over in Edinburgh in July 2013 under the condition that Rome would move Robson who became Dunkeld Bishop in December 2013.

Why don't we just start all over? When a new traditional Pope is elected, homefully very soon, why doesn't he just sack ALL the bishops appointed by Pope Francis in the Vatican and in all the dioceses around the world, and start over.....by picking only good, solid, traditional and orthodox bishops who are NOT gay, or support gays, or and pastoral to gays, etc.

Such tawdry 'spiritual' lives. A sorry example for young Catholics to emulate. God, please send us holy people, who will live your eternal Word, to guide us in the fog which has descended upon your Church and its faithful.

@alfred dunn -Yup, The second one this week. There's probably 2,000+ of them...not to mention most of Francis' Vatican. He actually promotes bishops who are known homosexuals!!

The absolute ROT of the Vatican II Church will take 100 years to remove. Pope Francis and his people are nearly the last vestiges of it, but it still will take a long time for the Church to recover. I don't mean to tell too much about my personal self, but when I was in highschool in senior year( 2009), I was on our football team, and in winter, the swimming and basketball teams. I also was into martial arts and bodybuilding (still am). Because of that I guess, one of the priests at my school (Jesuits....real surprise), tried to make passes at me, and even came into the locker room after a basketball game and stayed around when I was changing to go home. I could'nt very well tell him to get out, but he came up to me about 4 inches away, and put his hand on my chest and said "Good game Kenji, how about having dinner at the rectory some time." Fortunatly I was dressed and reached for my backpack before I headed for my car. "No thanks, but thanks" I remember saying, backing away and frowning at him as I left. He followed me around for months whenever he saw me crossing the quadrangle to different buildings to class. Finally, one week, he was gone. Where he went, I have no idea. Never saw him or heard about him again. Maybe he did all that to other guys on teams, got caught, and was transferred....where he could do it again somewhere else.
