Nobel Laureate: “Climate Change” Is Shock-Journalistic Pseudoscience

John Clauser, winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics, has joined the board of directors of the CO2 Coalition, Arlington, Virginia (PaTownhall.com, May 8).

• The coalition includes more than 120 scientists.

• Clauser has criticised the awarding of the 2021 Nobel Prize for developing computer models that “predict global warming”.

• Cumulus clouds, which on average cover half of the Earth, reflect about 90% of the sunlight back out into space, he explains.

• Sunlight that reaches the Earth in cloudless regions, two-thirds of which are covered by oceans, evaporates seawater, and produces cumulus clouds.

• Cloud production increases where there is too little cloud cover and decreases where there is too much - acting as a thermostat to stabilise the Earth's surface’s temperature.

• By comparison to this, the role of CO2 is negligible, and its increase will benefit the world.

• Clauser calls the “climate change” narrative a "dangerous corruption of science that threatens the global economy and the well-being of billions of people.”

• “Misguided climate science has metastasised into massive shock-journalistic pseudoscience” (Clauser).
