INITIAL SENTENCE
O Mary, Mother of mercy: remember the children you have in purgatory and, presenting our suffrages and your merits to your Son, intercede so that he may forgive them their debts and take them out of those darkness into the admirable light of his glory, where they enjoy your sweetest sight and that of your blessed Son.
O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, intercede together with your Wife before your Son for the souls of purgatory. Amen.
It is read about every day.
DAY 19
Meditation
God wants copious suffrages to be made for the souls of Purgatory
The souls of Purgatory were in life obedient to the law of God, just in their victorious works of their enemies, hence the Lord loves them and appreciates them with unspeakable affection and has them arranged in Heaven invincible crowns of glory. God, meanwhile, must behave with them, as an enemy and punish them in an inflexible gesture; so it is that, divided between the rigors of justice and the tender impulses of mercy, he alternately turns his gaze to those patient souls, pray to us who can give them freedom, and while because his eternal law demands it in this way, he becomes angry with those, moved by his beneficial heart, he turns to us as a source of all piety; while he rejects them, he asks us, stimulates us, moves us and goes so far as to beg us to free him from so Painful contrast, that we do a sweet violence to him, that we stop his armed right hand, that we snatch from him the scourge with which he hurts and torments those his beloved wives. And can we give God a negative? How much pleasure did Abraham not serve, forced to sacrifice his son Isaac, the appearance of that propitious angel who stopped his right hand? How much joy did his people not cause Saul, when with generous opposition he delivered the brave Jonathan from death? Well, we will please God much more when he sees that we piously oppose him in the act in which he torments the souls of Purgatory trying to free them from the heavy scourge of his justice. But, oh, how much the mourning to see that we are deaf to his request and inflexible to the most harsh sorrows of those of his daughters! There is no, he repeats with inconsolable moans through the mouth of his prophet, there is no pious man who opposes my anger and calms the fury of my justice. And can we understand these affections of the Lord and remain in complete inaction, without seeking help from Purgatory? Let us second, then, O Christians!, concludes Job, let us second the pious eyes of our heavenly sovereign and make every possible effort to console him in his beloved daughters. Which mediator is more powerful? Which intercessor is more effective? We, who out of necessity have to prostrate ourselves so often at the feet of the Most High to implore thousands of graces, won't we grant him today this one that he asks us?, ah, let's not be so insensitive!, let's play gods with the same God and with a generous copy of suffrages let's pendge his goodness in such a way, that he does not deny us his graces in the future, but as he did with the Holy Job when he begged for his friends, he redoubles and increase them according to his great mercy.
Prayer
They are for us, oh great God!, your voices are very worthy of veneration, they are very worthy of being fulfilled your desires. You wish and ask us to rescue the souls from Purgatory so that they fly to be blessed in your bosom. Here you have us ready to strive anyway to reciprocate the desires of your heart. We will leave nothing to do as much as I can contribute to such a holy end, and when you see, O Lord!, that our charity is warming up, we ask you that with your grace you make us emore again so that we can finally break those scorched chains and achieve with our suffrages eternal happiness to your daughters. Amen.
🌹Eternal Father, for the most precious blood of Jesus, mercy.

Let's pray. Oh my God, of whom it is proper to have compassion and forgiveness: we beg you pleading for the souls of your servants whom you have ordered to migrate from this world, especially for the souls of our relatives, friends and benefactors (they can be named by their proper name), so that you do not leave them in purgatory, but that you order your holy angels to take them and take them to the homeland of paradise, so that, because they waited and believed in you, they do not suffer the sorrows of purgatory, but possess the eternal joys. For Christ our Lord. Amen.
V. Give them, Lord, eternal rest.
R. And shine for them perpetual light.
V. Rest in peace.
R. Amen.
