I’ve discussed the evil of Hawaiian pagan culture before. Hawaiians literally WORSHIP demons as “volcano goddesses”, and now we see the worship of the demon “water god”.

Those crazy, evil bastards SHUT THE WATER OFF TO FIGHT THE WILDFIRES in deference to and “sacrificial worship” of a demon.
They also forbid people from doing ANYTHING to mitigate damage from lava flows because this is depriving the volcano goddess-demon of its sacrifice, and openly admit that the entire Hawaiian archipelago is cursed such that if you take even the tiniest pebble or seashell home as a memento, you can expect massive demonic oppression to enter your life. And they’re proud of this.
