BREAKING: France is trying to bring back the civil war in Lebanon in order to protect Israel - Breaking Defense France told members of the Lebanese government that it is ready to support the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) if they are deployed to secure the southern border with Israel and push Hezbollah away from the area. Discussions are ongoing to increase LAF presence in southern Lebanon to try and avoid an Israeli invasion. Macron thinks that Lebanon will agree to self-destruct so that Israel is not destroyed. He is definitely out of touch with reality.

This would create a civil war. The Lebanese military is not capable of taking on Hezbollah. What is more is that the Lebanese Army itself is divided. It isn't a Christian or secular army. It is made up of both Christians and Muslims. Hence their isn't any unified vision. It wouldn't work. I think it is better to let the Jews and Hezbollah fight it out.
