Roche Rants: Latin Mass "Keyboard Warriors" Are Very Effective

"Don't leave the liturgical field to those small and vocal minorities, of whatever hue, who seem [sic!] obstinately to stand against the Holy Father and against the [failed] liturgical reform," ranted an angry Cardinal Roche, Prefect of Divine Worship during an 8 October lecture published in Music and Liturgy. The Journal of the Society of St Gregory, January 2023 (Matthew Hazell, Twitter.com, January 30).

Roche is "well aware that people sometimes talk about 'liturgy wars'" - which he is apparently afraid of losing.

"From what I understand, many of these battles today are carried out in cyberspace, where people with various agendas and motivations set themselves up as experts and interpreters of all things liturgical," he said. Roche himself has minimal training in liturgy.

He complains that "these keyboard warriors seem to have an outsize effect, particularly on seminarians" and polemicises against allegedly "distorted agendas" that are "so frequently aired through blogs, etc".

Roche should not complain too much, since he has the powerful anti-Christian oligarch media on his side.

“Set themselves up as experts” by, oh, doing extensive research of source documents, historical investigations, comparisons of data sets...He sounds like those medico-bureaucrats who dismiss evidence of all the lies of the pharma companies and harms of their magic medicine as “anecdotal”. What counts as “liturgical expertise” among the V2 cleric is reading tons of speculative third-rate circulars from self-nominated “experts” and outright infidels.

People who are confident in their agenda to not rant like this. People who know they are doing what is right and ethical and proper don't rant like this. They exude confidence, but also civility. Roche and Bergoglio are none of these. They are paranoid, afraid of encountering opposition for which they have no good defense, to they rely on underhanded tactics, threats, and cruel punishments/restrictions/supressions. These are all tell-tale signs of people who KNOW what they are doing is wrong, destructive (against the Catholic Faith), harmful to souls, and will cause disunity, ill will, and justifiable rebellion against their agenda. And yet they pursue it undeterred. That is the sign of a person, or group of people who are either mentally unstable, delusional, or genuinely evil. I think Roche and Bergoglio/aka Pope Francis are all three.

Fortunatly for St, Maximilian Kolbe, and for all priests of his time....the Tridentine Latin Mass was all there was, and sadly, would be the only Catholic Mass for only 20+ years after that (1945).

Holy father? If he was my grandfather I wouldn't let him in the house nor would I have him catechise any of the children. The man is a disgrace. Nobody is trying to undermine the NO Mass. It collapses all by itself.

How can cardinals like Roche expect real Catholics to treat anything they say seriously and with any level of respect. Their agenda, and that of their leader Jorge Bergoglio is so transparent.....I don't trust them in any way at all to be helping us reach salvation....and quite frankly I am sick of the blather and spin they heap on us day after day!!!
