Priest and Killer: Relatives Try Again to Get Compensation

Sisters and nieces of Guerrina Piscaglia, who disappeared in May 2014, are demanding compensation of almost €1M from Congolese Norbertine Father Gratien Alabi, Arezzo Diocese, and the Norbertines.

In 2019, Alabi was definitively sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for Guerrina’s murder and the concealment of her body. He is incarcerated in Rebibbia prison in Rome.

Alabi and Guerrina entertained a sexual relationship of which the local bishop was aware. Her body was never found. Earlier, a court already rejected compensation claims.
