China Sends Direct Help to Vatican

China sent through the Chinese Red Cross Society and the Patriotic church’s Hebei Jinde Charities Foundation aid to the Vatican pharmacy.

The health supplies are intended as a sign of solidarity of the Chinese people and the Chinese “Catholic communities” for those fighting the coronavirus.

According to Vatican speaker Matteo Bruni, the Holy See appreciates the gest. Bruni assured the donors of “the Holy Father's esteem and [even] prayers."
