Dishonest Francis: Position On German Synod Unchanged

Francis refused through his press office to confirm Archbishop Gądecki's statement that Francis distanced himself from the German Synod.

After meeting Francis, Gądecki said that Francis had „a great distance“ to the Synod and that he sees in it a „turn towards the Protestantisation of the Church.“

But Vatican speaker Matteo Bruni told KNA.de (March 29) that Francis still holds what he wrote in his 2019 letter to Germany and declined to confirm Gądecki's statement. The audience was private and confidential, Bruni added.

KNA.de now pretends that Gądecki “created the impression” that Francis has distanced himself from the Synod. However, there is no doubt about Gądecki's honesty while Francis and the Germans are known for twisting their words.
