Never thought I’d see anything like this come out of Hollywood.
A powerful and uplifting drama about the power of faith, Fatima tells the story of a 10-year old shepherd and her two young cousins in Fátima, Portugal, who report seeing visions of the Virgin Mary. Their revelations inspire believers but anger officials of both the Church and the secular government, who try to force them to recant their story. As word of their prophecy spreads, tens of thousands of religious pilgrims flock to the site in hopes of witnessing a miracle. What they experience will change their lives forever.

Let's wait until the movie appears in theaters before praising Hollywood for a powerful and uplifting drama. Modern "religious" films tend to have all sorts of anti-Catholic teachings.
When WAS the last truly "Catholic" movie made in Hollywood? Anybody know? Passion of The Christ doesn't count since it was an independent film (i.e. not made by any of the big Hollywood studios). Foreign-made, …More

First clue the angle is feminine. Not the sort of human gender that calls biblical angels to announce "be not afraid". The trailer also hint of parental disobedience from the children. My guess is there is a lot more not so good not so perfect stuff. BUT BUT it still may be a great movie to watch when there is so few movies that can be called great. They took liberties with the Song of Bernadette …More

The problem with these kinds of things - internet sites, movies, books, and so on which are "Catholic" but not really traditionally Catholic, is that they spread heresy, misinformation, and insinuate themselves into our hearts and minds leaving us unable to discard that part which is actually against the Faith, or at least not really in line with the Church's teaching.
