When glamorous interior designer Clare Hazell married brewing heir Arthur Edward Guinness, the Earl of Iveagh, she triumphantly entered the higher aristocracy and ended up the custodian of one of the UK’s grandest estates.
But, as we have discussed here before, the hundreds of thousands of documents released by the US House Oversight Committee are keeping scores of journalists busy delving into the motherlode of data.
And these documents show that, in June 2020, the UK’s National Crime Agency contacted the FBI to inform them that Countess Hazell was ‘allegedly a close contact of Epstein’ and that a woman (whose identity has been redacted but widely suspected to be late Virginia Roberts Giuffre) claimed ‘she was sexually abused’ by her.
