There is a line over which a layman may not cross. Tis rather difficult to recognise this line if one is not thoroughly educated in Roman Catholic theology. This is one of the reasons behind the ghastly laicisation of the Church at present; wherein lay folk, having been given sacerdotal responsibilities in error, by their priest, and get puffed up with pride and self-importance. This results in these lay folk appropriating unto themselves authority which is ONLY proper to the Roman Priest.
In their early days (and I have only seen their videos) the Lords did fall into the aforesaid problem. However, once they cease their 'authoritative' pronouncements on Roman Catholic Liturgy and Doctrine, I have no difficulty with this couple.

I think the MOST IMPORTANT thing is, that each one of us prays for his/her own soul, in order to stay humble, and goes to the Holy Communion as often as possible. Whether hand or tongue - let's leave that to the Holy Seat to decide!

FYI, I'm conservative, I don't take communion in the hand, I attend the TLM when I have the chance (not that it automatically makes anyone better). If they offered TLM daily near where I live, I would go, because I long for more reverence.

@Tu_es_Petrus....spoken like a true liberal., who believes anyone can touch Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist! As once there was a Mother Superior of a Cloistered Order here where we live who told me that their pastor refused to give the nuns Communion on the tongue...his response to the Mother Superior was exactly as yours when she had asked him to give her sisters communion on the tongue!

We hear you and for the record as I said before Bob and Penny have not been Eucharistic Ministers for over 20 years and have always been faithful to the Magisterium of the Church.
