Germany: Deputy Seminary Director Leaves Priesthood

Father Holger Ungruhe, 38, has announced that he does not want to continue “working for the Church” but has not made this decision in a spirit of grudge.

For two years, Ungruhe has been the deputy director at the Collegium Borromaeum seminary in Münster, and assistant priest at the cathedral.

He stops working as a priest "until further notice," will "test himself in another professional environment,” and has already started a sabbatical.

Ungruhe was ordained a priest in Münster in 2012 and was named deputy director of the seminary in 2020, a position he would never have been given, had he been an honest Catholic.

Would anyone with real integrity want to remain working for the conciliar religion?

That implies he is honest, something which seems lacking in too many in high ecclesiastical office.
