Becciu Did NOT Send Money For Pell's Prosecution
The Vatican's 2014-2020 money transfers to Australia had nothing to do with the controversial trial against Cardinal Pell, LaNuovaBq.it (April 9) writes.
The money was destined to Neustar, a computer security company, for among others the management of the top-level domain “.catholic” in Chinese characters.
The Australian Anti-Money Laundering Authority (Austrac) falsely claimed that the Vatican had sent in six years $2.3 billion in over 400,000 transactions.
Finally, Austrac admitted that this number was totally wrong and that the total movements amounted to $9.5 million in 362 transfers. It can be excluded that this "error" was accidental.
