Ok. So I understand what's good for the goose is good for the gander. But has anyone stopped to think of the medium-to-long term effects?
You now have a bunch of already-radicalized people who are angry, have no job, and blame everything on their enemies.
I'm not saying the public shaming shouldn't happen. I'm saying be prepared for the inevitable when you poke a hornets' nest.
Well many decent people have concluded we as a nation are beyond this business of "tolerating" these people and feel they need to be called out. No more "moving on"." Think about it for a moment - we've THREE recent high-profile incidents where our societal morals have been violated: children praying in church slaughtered (freedom of religion), a young woman murdered while riding public transport (right to life), a man assassinated during a debate (freedom of speech). If anyone CARES about our future we risk it all if we just yawn and let the "news cycle" go the onto the "next thing" all the while nefarious forces are left alone to foment MORE chaos!
No, I agree with you. The mind-virus must be confronted and people need to take accountability for their actions.
My point is it's like passing a kidney stone - that thing needs to work its way out, but it's really going to hurt during the process. So be ready. Keep your protection close and your Rosary closer.
Anyone who gloats about the abhorrent death of any human being is not likely to be an employee any company, business, or institution would want to keep on its roster.
