Des évêques et des prêtres s'élèvent contre les mensonges de François
Quatre évêques, plusieurs prêtres et des universitaires laïcs ont signé (tous les noms sont indiqués ci-dessous) une déclaration réprimandant François pour une récente déclaration sur la réception de la Sainte Communion (LifeSiteNews.com, 15 septembre).
Les évêques sont Strickland, 63 ans, (Tyler, Texas), Gracida, 99 ans, (Corpus Christi, Texas), Mutsaerts, 64 ans, (S'Hertogenbosch, Pays-Bas), Schneider, 61 ans, (Astana, Kazakhstan).
François affirme dans Desiderio desideravi (29 juin) que tout le monde devrait recevoir la communion.
Les signataires répondent que François a omis le "sujet essentiel du repentir du péché pour la digne réception de l'Eucharistie".
Ils expliquent à François que les catholiques doivent recevoir l'absolution sacramentelle pour tout péché mortel avant de recevoir la Communion.
Si une confession sacramentelle n'est pas possible, mais que la réception de la Sainte Communion est urgente, comme pour un prêtre célébrant la Messe, le sacrement de pénitence doit être demandé dès que possible après.
La déclaration de François selon laquelle la foi seule est suffisante pour recevoir la Sainte Communion "contredit" la foi catholique, concluent-ils.
