Italy: “Francis Spring” Makes Excellent Progress

Over the last ten years, the number of seminarians in Italy went down by 28%.

According to the Italian Bishops, today there are 1,804 seminarians while in 1970 – when the number of vocations had already dropped because of the failed Vatican II - there were 6,500.

Father Marco d’Agostino, the rector of Cremona seminary told IlGiornale.it that seminarians are not “heroes against the tide,” rather “anything but that.”

This may explain why so many priests are dead fish tossed around by the empty waves made by the oligarchs’ media.

Seminary faculties, always well attuned to the political situation in their diocese, ad well as the Church-at-large, have moved quite a bit to the left, after having swung to the right in the latter days of JPII and the early days of Benedict XVI. Prospective seminarians, at least the ones who go in with their eyes open, can see this, and stay away. And, in all likelihood, the FSSP is not going to be an option for much longer. Of course, the average Sunday pewsitter, who, as Phil Lawler has recently pointed out, doesn’t recognize the validity of the Novus ordo (70% not believing in the Real Presence), couldn’t care less if there were no more priests. It was different, not too long ago.

Francis is the problem... As a John Paul II priest we wanted to be like him.. his joy, love, dedication, to the church, Christ and the people was seen in him.. Today, who wants to follow a "Grumpy Old Man" who beats everyone to death, except the Globalists, Communists and Mother Earth lovers.

Let’s just all hope that the percentage of sodomites among the seminarians has decreased as well.

Nope. There's more, not less. This is another blessing of Pope Francis. Just read about the North American College in Rome. Homos are streaming in since Francis, students and faculty. Encounters are common. The good men there during Benedict XVI are fleeing, or disiplined out for being "conservatives". Enrollement under JP II- 175 per yr. in general, under Benedict XVI, 250( 2012), under Francis - 123 (2021 total).
Pontifical Roman Seminary ordinations at the Vatican yearly by the Pope in St. Peter's-under JPII (40-50 per year), Benedict XVI (40-50 per year), Francis (8)...for 2021. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what's wrong, or who is to blame.

Failed Vatican II? No, it has achieved its goals quite well.
