Shame on Toronto for the woke Remembrance Day service
Remembrance Day, Veterans Day in the United States, is to honour and remember those who suffered and gave their lives to protect and defend our freedom. Instead, the event reminded those present about everything that is wrong, to the woke, about our present society.
Here's the Land Acknowledgement read by a cadet:
We acknowledge the land we are meeting on as a traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe and the Chippewa and Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee and Wendat people and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples. We acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13, signed with the Mississauga’s of the Credit and we also acknowledge the Williams treaties signed with multiple Mississauga and Chippewa bands.
