THE BLESSED SOULS
OF PURGATORY
Francisco Vitali
For the signal...
INITIAL SENTENCE
O Mary, Mother of mercy: remember the children you have in purgatory and, presenting our suffrages and your merits to your Son, intercede so that he may forgive them their debts and take them out of those darkness into the admirable light of his glory, where they enjoy your sweetest sight and that of your blessed Son.
O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, intercede together with your Wife before your Son for the souls of purgatory. Amen.
It is read about every day.
DAY 6
Meditation
Divine Vindicative Justice
Having the holy souls of Purgatory triumphed in the lifetime of their enemy the devil, it is not fair that they fall into their hands in the other world to be tormented by him. God does allow that in their mortal career the righteous are also tempted and persecuted by that evil spirit, but he does not allow it in the afterlife because here it is lagar of trial and fight, there of term and rewards. So God himself is the one who ignites and with his breath fuels the fire of Purgatory that punishes and purifies those chosen daughters of grace; and although he loves them tenderly, nevertheless, he makes them taste the most rigorous effects of his justice. And do we complain if God visits us from time to time with some tribulation on this earth? A prophet says that God is in the fire, and that as an artisan he melts and purifies silver and gold in a burning crucible, and liquidates it to melt it and reduce it to showy work, if among the flames of that burning prison the Lord cleans and purifies the sons of Levi to make them worthy of himself; or in the way that a diligent sculptor by dint of blows of his sharp chisel prints on the hard marble the forms of the original that he proposes, no other way God, with the severe scourge of his Justice, repeatedly hurts To those afflicted souls until he sculpts in them the image of their perfection, making them worthy of the eternal glory of heaven. Without merits and perfection you can't enter glory. And we, what do we do to deserve it? The consideration of not being those souls tormented by demons in Purgatory, forms for them a title of distinction and complacency; more being punished and tormented by the very hand of God whom they worship, makes the blows more sensitive and the scourge that hurts them heavier. They exclaim, we give thanks, oh Lord! To your mercy, because you have delivered us from the teeth of the infernal dragon, but alas! How afflict it is for us to look at your face more of a Judge than of a Father, your hand more of an avenger than of a Spouse. Your mercy has become rigor, and we only feel the darts of your most heated anger. Oh Father! Oh Judge! Oh tormentor! Oh Husband! Oh! Have mercy on those who do not desire or sigh but for you.
Prayer
Hear, Lord, hear these voices for they are the voices of your beloved daughters. Return serenity and sweetness to your face, let a ray of mercy and grace shine in your eyes, place on your right hand the scourge of anger and rigor, and by one of those traits of goodness that God declares to you of mercies, raise those unhappy who suffer to the eternal bosom of your bliss. Such are his desires and such also ours. Listen to the daughters who beg you, listen to the servants who intercede for them, listen to Purgatory and the earth to grant heaven to those who find no rest until they possess them with you. Amen.
🌹Eternal Father, for the most precious blood of Jesus, mercy.

Let's pray. Oh my God, of whom it is proper to have compassion and forgiveness: we beg you pleading for the souls of your servants whom you have ordered to migrate from this world, especially for the souls of our relatives, friends and benefactors (they can be named by their proper name), so that you do not leave them in purgatory, but that you order your holy angels to take them and take them to the homeland of paradise, so that, because they waited and believed in you, they do not suffer the sorrows of purgatory, but possess the eternal joys. For Christ our Lord. Amen.
V. Give them, Lord, eternal rest.
R. And shine for them perpetual light.
V. Rest in peace.
R. Amen.
