Francis Makes Interesting Appointment

Francis officially appointed on August 4 a “personal health assistant” in the person of his nurse Massimiliano Strappetti, Coordinating Nurse of the Directorate of Health and Hygiene.

Francis praised Strappetti in 2021 for having “saved my life.”

It is unclear what this appointment adds to Strappetti’s previous function.

Humble goodly Francis only made the appointment to show all naysayers how humble and holy he is with his synodal holy path coming up soon with all his papers getting drafted and everything he has to be doing as he is so humble and holy. Stop snipping at how humble he is try imitating his small car and his synodality then you might get his message.

Francis' appointment of a personal health assistant is an admission that his health is going down fast. Its like a 24-hr. nurse, usually called for for seriosuly ill or disabled elderly patients. JPII in his very last days also had one, who was always by his side on his very last trips. But Francis appointing a personal health assistant is an admission and a sign that his health is rapidly going down, and that he has more wrong with him than just his knee. He also looks like he's lost weight suddenly. Bottom line, if his health was good, or at least fair....this appointment would not have been necessary. He'll be gone soon.
And I would not trust Roche as a cardinal.
McElroy should never have been appointed.

No but I like Goh as a cardinal, I like most of the new cardinals. You mentioned McElroy and Roche, add Steiner and that is about it.

More interesting are his up and coming cardinal appointments. They actually seem to shift things in favour of the orthodox.
While McElroy and Steiner are pro-Jimmy Martin stuff, and Roche is a Conservative turned Novus Ordo enforcer, the only other cardinal who might be bad appears to be the local Italian bishop.

Goh from Singapore wants to keep homosexual practices illegal and his way of being pastoral is too support Courage. The East Timor cardinal designate spoke about the danger of LGBT lobbies in his country after having been announced as a new cardinal.

The misionary leader in Mongolia turned out susprisingly anti-syncretic and believes devotion to our Lady and the Eucharist helps against the demons of Shamanism.

The two Africans go without saying.

5 really good ones.

The South Korean prefect of the clergy was appointed bishop by John Paul II, received a certain function from Benedixt XVI, is part of the rather Conservative South Korean church and defended priestly celibacy during the 2018 youth synod. He is also devoted to our Lady and appears pious.

The French cardinal designate did the apostolic visitation of that Traditionalist diocese but was actually fair to them. His ecumenics with Islam included witnessing the faith to Muslims and openly speaking off Muslims becoming Catholic. He is not like certain French Traditionalist bishops.

The two Indian ones were already appointed as archbishops before Francis and neither seems like Gracias.

The other two Latin American bishops were appointed before Francis and I found nothing bad on them.
