Is that the same gene that causes a woman to wear a man's clothes, or is that a different one?
Oprah was one of the most prominent "celebrity influencers" that swayed whole populations - mostly women! I recall when she said "I would NEVER eat beef!" due to what she claimed was inhumane treatment of cattle & unsanitary conditions. Her impact was so persuasive that the American Beef Association sued her for defamation because of a drop is sales. She had to make an on air apology. In spiritual/religious matters she elevated all sorts of "New Age" charlatans like Marianne Williamson. I even heard priests both quote her in homilies or denounce her from the pulpit as a fraud!
Many years ago, a majority of people thought Oprah was wise and prudent. Time has taught us a lesson that she is really stupid.
