Madrid Archbishop: The More Anti-Catholic the Better
Madrid's auxiliary bishop José Cobo, 57, could be the next archbishop of Madrid.
Therefore, the clergy of Madrid "celebrated this Pentecost as if it were Good Friday", writes InfoVaticana.com (29 May).
Cobo is the leader of the anti-Catholic and homosexualist minority and would rule for two decades. Last year he made several trips to Rome to denigrate Madrid's Cardinal Osoro, 78, who is no great Catholic.
Osoro made Cobo an auxiliary against the majority opinion of those he consulted. Madrid Archdiocese has problems with its foundations that could be resolved legally, but Osoro, who like Francis is known to act autocratically, rejected the proposal of a team of lawyers.
Other candidates for Madrid are de las Heras (León) and Argüello (Valladolid). The latter is considered a Catholic and therefore has no chance with Francis.
