Zephaniah 3:1-2, 9-13“Ah! Rebellious and polluted, the tyrannical city!; In the Lord it has not trusted, nor drawn near to its God.”
The root of a person’s evil, both against themselves and against others, is their failure to draw near to God and their turning away from Him.
Matthew 21:28-32
He answered, “Yes, Lord!” but he did not go.
Jesus presented himself as the Son who says “Yes, Lord,” and goes; he is present with us.
