Man fragt sich, ob das gültig sein kann, wenn der Erwählte ein Erzdiakon ist. Vielleicht ist es nur ein Ehrentitel, der mit einem bestimmten kirchlich-administrativem Amt verbunden ist, denn die Stola trägt er wie ein Priester. Auch kommt es während der Konsekration zu keiner physischen Handauflegung. Es bleibt bei der Handausstreckung.
