Gotta admit, I'm not too upset about no homily. Many times it's the most unbearable part of the N.O. service. Finding a decent preacher who actually relates the truths of the Catholic faith is like finding 'hen's teeth'!

Those impoverished vestments are disgustingly horrible, as is the whole pauperized set-up there. It looks like a barren, desolate wilderness. None of the season’s beauty, grandeur and majestic pageantry that Papal celebrations have historically been renowned for during High Holy Days such as this. It’s just downright embarrassing.
