Every Soul Rises: Heaven Or Eternal Horror
Today, we remember those who have passed and pray for their souls. Through the eighth of November, a plenary indulgence can be gained for the souls in purgatory by visiting a cemetery or praying for them. This indulgence requires confession, Holy Communion, detachment from sin, and prayer for the souls.
Fr. Altier emphasizes the importance of repentance and seeking God’s mercy through confession to avoid eternal suffering in hell. He highlights the blessing of those alive at the end of the world, who will be caught up in the clouds and experience a purification process before being judged. He encourages focusing on prayer, following the commandments, and living a moral life to stay in a state of grace and attain heaven.
Strive to love, grow in holiness, and know God’s will to achieve the fullest glory of the resurrection, sharing in God’s glory for eternity.
