Mater Ecclesiae: Will Benedict Be Replaced by Benedictines?

The Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in the Vatican, built by John Paul II between 1992 and 1994 will be populated by Benedictine nuns from Buenos Aires, writes SilereNonPossum.it (October 26).

The last community of nuns left in 2012 to allow for renovations requested by Benedict XVI to use the place as a retirement residence a year later.

If SilereNonPossum.it is right, then the sisters could only come from the Abadía de Santa Escolástica, a rather small but young convent which promotes the cause of Cardinal Pironio (+1998), an enemy of the Opus Dei like Bergoglio.
