Murdered: 65-year-old Sister Odette Dos Anjos was murdered last Friday in Guaratinguetà, Brazil. She belonged to the Franciscan Sisters of Siessen, a congregation originally from Germany. Sister Odette worked in the Fazenda da Esperança which offers spiritual therapy for drug addicts. Her killer was a 53-year-old man who, coming from outside, stabbed her eight times in the back. He was looking for money.
