No, Not Pachamama: Francis Fights "Idolatry"

On 1st February the Vatican released Francis' message for Lent 2024 and an accompanying poster, which - presumably based on Gloria.tv - shows a caricature of Francis carrying away the faith like a sack of dung in a wheelbarrow.

In his message, Francis once again projects his personal problems onto others. He denounces, for example, idolatry and says that "we can become attached to money, to certain projects, ideas or goals, to our position, to a tradition (sic), even to certain people".

Other slogans of the message are "fraternity", "new world" and the "synodal form of the Church", i.e. everything Francis doesn't practice in his own house.

In the past, Francis has called true idolatry, such as the cult of the demon Pachamama, "a different way of seeking God" and a "mosaic in which each piece is essential to the uniqueness and beauty of the whole".

la verdad prevalece
Bergoglio gives new meanings to terms such as sin, idolatry, paganism, etc. and uses them not to combat evil but as insults to attack God and the Church. Here the prophetic woe of those who maliciously call good evil and evil good is fulfilled.
la verdad prevalece
Marxists like Bergoglio manipulate language. For Heresiarch Bergoglio, idolatry is the cult of the true God, the ideology is Catholicism, the infiltrators are the authentic Catholics, and the poor of Marxism: they are the homosexuals and transvestites. And for him the Exploiter is the Church and God.
la verdad prevalece
For this reason Bergoglio's Marxist pseudo-pastoral PROGAY is divorced from Catholic doctrine and contradicts Divine Natural Law.

Is this real? Is it supposed to be a joke of some kind? Who produced this image? Has anyone authenticated its veracity and validity as an official publication of the Vatican? Surely it’s a joke or something created by AI.

That was my first thought, and then - having received it from a solid source - I accepted it as real but now, with a friend asking me the same question (is this doctored?) I have asked my source to confirm. The real issue is, though, that the very fact that this COULD be real, is a scandal in itself. Nothing Francis does should surprise us any more; shock, yes, always, but …More

@SonoftheChurch I've just checked the Vatican site and this is no joke.

@Patricia McKeever Oh no…I grieve to hear it. It’s appalling! What have we come to with such sacrilege? And for Lent! It never ends with this Vatican. Every day it’s something. Every day a scandal. Every day another round of diabolical, malformed, monstrous madness thrust upon us. Good Lord, can we not have one day — one single day — free of insanity? One day without abnormalities. Every day another round of diabolical, malformed, monstrous madness thrust upon us. Good Lord, can we not have one day — one single day — free of insanity? One day without abnormalities. One day without vile, unclean perversions poured over our heads. One day without heretics, heathens and apostates clamoring for our attention and allegiance. One day without abominations shoved relentlessly down our throats. One single, solitary day without pollutants that are utterly foreign to the Faith and hitherto unknown and unfounded in the Church and in her perennial Doctrine, being ruthlessly injected like venomous poison into that which we hold most sacred, defiling all that we deem as holy and keep closely and devoutly as holiness unto the Lord? May God, in His unfathomable mercies, help us, and grant us light in the darkness of this age.

@SonoftheChurch The fact is that, surprising as it may seem, we are favoured to be able to see this pontificate for what it is - a total aberration. Thank God for this great grace. @SonoftheChurch The fact is that, surprising as it may seem, we are favoured to be able to see this pontificate for what it is - a total aberration. Thank God for this great grace. Think of the poor souls - including some priests - who labour under the misapprehension that because it is a pope saying and doing these scandalous things, it is acceptable; they begin from the false belief that the Holy Spirit appoints popes in conclaves and thus, all is well and he must be obeyed in all things - which is an error in itself. We are not bound to blind obedience, not to any priest, bishop or pontiff. Our obedience is to the Faith. Thus, having set out from that wrong place, so to speak, they cannot reach the correct destination - which is Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Life. And having fallen into this error of papolatry, they fall prey to any and every other error, sacrilege and blasphemy around. These are the people who will readily follow any and every fake apparition claim in the book. It's incredible, beyond words, that anyone could be so stupid as to defend Francis and his scandalous words and actions. Incredible that so many people are now Protestant text-book "Catholics".

@Patricia McKeever Yes papolatry is a big problem in the priesthood/laity. I used to work with priests who thought that Francis was the best thing since sliced bread. Although their papolatry was very selective. I noted they were very cool towards Benedict XVI when he was Pope. This article is a good antidote to papolatry: On Papolatry

@English Catholic Thanks for that link - I've read that excellent article - On Papolatry - before, some time ago, but worth re-reading. So, thanks, Bro 👏 😊

@English Catholic Yes I agree with your observations. Back in seminary in the 90s our profs called J.P. Utterly shocking. "Francis carrying away the faith like a sack of dung in a wheelbarrow..." Utterly shocking. How Long, O Lord?!

@Patricia McKeever Yes - especially since wheelbarrows are used to fill with rubbish, to be taken away and discarded. Also, the biblical quote: "I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery" juxtaposed with that cartoon is nigh on blasphemous. It looks like it's implying that Francis is some kind of deity who is leading us out of the 'slavery of …More

@English Catholic Exactly - it is beyond horrifying to see a pope portrayed as taking the Faith away in a vehicle used to carry rubbish. Downright wicked, because that image reflects what this pope has been doing all along - destroying the Faith and treating Catholic Tradition as nothing more than garbage which has outlived its usefulness.
