Abortion

Is it true? Is that what Catholics believe or what the world believes?

Vatican II's physical and spiritual forni.

Some are victims, some are at the head of it.

Abortion is premeditated murder. The Church has no proclamation on the fate of aborted babies but the woman is more guilty than the abortionist.

Abraham Send Lazarus

The Church has many decrees on that though it need not give a graphic description of those states. Decrees also about those of the age of reason.
You fall under the category of unaborted babies, and the Church has enough decrees which covers you and those of the other category.

Sorry but I have wondered about this question for years and I cannot come to a conclusion. Thanks.

You have your own doctrine?
They also have their own doctrine: "Their Body Their Choice".

@Uni Versum 2.....According to the Bible child sacrifice which is todays abortion is the only "unthinkable" sin to God, he never thought parents would do that which is why "abortion" is not mentioned in the Bible-it is unthinkable to God. Abortion deserves the death penalty since it is murder. The baby cries out to God for vengeance and God promises to avenge. The abortive woman is immediately condemned to Hell. And about 20 more.

Abraham Send Lazarus

So God did not mention abortion in the whole Bible? From Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus... Apocalypse?
Nothing is unthinkable to God. God knows all things. He knows the end from the beginning.
Child sacrifice and abortion are not the same. Child sacrifice is usually to demons.

Many of these were alluded to in the Bible.
Those who violate the sacrament of Matrimony. But a larger majority is from those who are young (who violate the Sacrament of Matrimony).
The snarer and the snared. Modesty, innocence, teachers.

@Uni Versum 2.. They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind. Jeremiah 7:31
They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal—something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind. Jeremiah 19:5
They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded—nor did it enter my mind—that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin. Jeremiah 32:35
Of course God knows everything but he has said this 3 times to emphasis it. Abortion is not mentioned in the bible except in the many condemnations of child sacrifice. Abortion is the only “unthinkable” sin to God.
Yes abortion is human sacrifice to demons which is "unthinkable' to God.

Jeremiah 19:5
And they have built the excelses of Baalim, to burn their children with fire for holocaust to Baalim: which I commanded not [I did not command...], nor have spoken of [I have not spoken of...], neither have they ascended into my heart [they have not ascended into my heart].
[Commentary]
Ver. 5. Mind. Perhaps the people stupidly thought thus to honour him; but God pointedly condemns such sacrifices.

It is similar to:
Matthew 7:23
And then I will confess unto them, That I never knew you: depart from me you that work iniquity.

@chris griffin help me. Someone implies abortion is good because it is a way their parents send them to heaven. What do you think?

Abraham Send Lazarus

Rise above your sin. Don't be held by the sin of abortion. Do penance. God is merciful, and don't do it again.

My choice"

Absolutely not! It's a defined Dogma of the Faith that there is no salvation without Baptism. Abortion deprives a child of access to Heaven. Limbo -- still in the official Catechism of the Catholic Church - is where the souls of the unbaptized go who die albeit not in the state of mortal sin.

Abraham Send Lazarus

Thank you, but hell is where CCC (the book called Catechism of the Catholic Church) truly belongs.
