. I beleiev Israel had a right to defend itself, but not to keep slaughtering innocent civilians as they are doing, and bombing homes. Now 1.2 Palestinians are homeless. That is way above what was justified for Israel to do.

This conflict might spread in the Middle East. If it does, don't be surprised if Israel starts sobbing and whining for the USA to enter the war and save them.
If the USA were to be that stupid as to fly to the rescue of Israel, the protests in DC on Saturday of 100,000++ will spread 100X over across the USA. Some reporters are already speaking of an insurrection in the USA against such involvement. And the protests against USA involvement would be 100% justified.
