fsspx.news/en – This week we look at a recent conversation with Bishop Bernard Fellay on Fatima, an interview with Bishop Athanasius Schneider on the fallout from Amoris Laetitia, and an archeological discovery of an ancient church in Turkey.

fsspx.news/…/interview-bisho… – An interview with Bishop Bernard Fellay, Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X, is now available online. The interview includes, among other things, a discussion on the centenary of Fatima in light of the ongoing crisis in the Church. Bishop Fellay recounted the importance of the Fatima apparitions, saying that they should inspire Catholics to spread the Faith and combat the errors which have crept into the Church over the past century.

fsspx.news/…/bishop-schneide… – Bishop Athanasius Schneider of Kazakhstan, also gave an interview denouncing the idea of the so-called “pastoral” provisions allowing the reception of communion by the divorced and civilly remarried. According to the prelate, those who have called Amoris Laetitia a “theological atomic bomb” are right, as it has the capacity to destroy all Catholic moral teaching.

fsspx.news/…/one-oldest-chur… – Members of the Archeology Department at the Karabük University in Turkey, have announced the discovery of the remains of one of the oldest churches in Anatolia. Estimates say the structure could be about 1,500 years old, which would make it one of the first churches on the Anatolian peninsula. This place was once an important pilgrimage site where St. Alypius the Stylite, a 6th-century monk and miracle-worker, was venerated. According to reports, the church was about 65 feet long and was decorated with a floor mosaic representing a bull that is still visible to this day.
