National Post Freeland reprende severamente al "ilegítimo" presidente venezolano y pide a Maduro que "ceda el poder de inmediato"

"Habiendo tomado el poder a través de elecciones fraudulentas y antidemocráticas (...) el régimen de Maduro ahora está totalmente arraigado como una dictadura", dijo Freeland.

"Pedimos a (Maduro) que ceda de inmediato el poder a la Asamblea Nacional elegida democráticamente hasta que se celebren nuevas elecciones, que deben incluir la participación de todos los actores políticos seguida de la liberación de todos los presos políticos en Venezuela", dijo Freeland.

'Having seized power through fraudulent and anti-democratic elections ... the Maduro regime is now fully entrenched as a dictatorship,' Freeland said

“We call on (Maduro) to immediately cede power to the democratically elected National Assembly until new elections are held, which must include the participation of all political actors and follow the release of all political prisoners in Venezuela,” said Freeland.
