A new modern heresy has been detected. It has infected the pope, cardinals and bishops. I call it Cushingism- as opposed to Feeneyism.
So we can choose from a Feeneyite version or the familiar, Cushingite version, of Vatican Council II.
Cushingism is heretical and schismatic and Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez, Bishop Bernard Fellay and Fr. Davide Pagliarani, are Cushingites. They will now have Catholic families excommunicated, who are not aware of the official objective error and so have not legally contested it and defended themselves.
The 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston (LOHO) is Cushingite but the confusion was also there in the Baltimore Catechism.
Rahner, Ratzinger, Balthazar, Congar, Lehmann, Lubac and others were Cushingite with the LG 16 visible, false premise. They were in schism. Even Bishop Bernard Fellay and Fr. Davide Pagliarani use the LG 16 visible error, to interpret Vatican Council II and all the Catechisms. This is not traditional. It is not the deposit of the faith.
OLD CATECHISMS ARE FEENEYITE
The old catechisms can be read with Cushingism. They were Feeneyite i.e. the baptism of desire and being saved in ignorance, were Feeneyite. They were hypothetical and invisible, always.
But the sedevacantists today, Bishop Donald Sanborn, Mark Pivarunas, Michael and Peter Dimond, Louie Verrecchio and others, read the old catechisms with Cushingism, instead of Feeneyism.
Dr. Taylor Marshall, John Henry Westen and Michael Matt are Cushingite. If they interpreted Vatican Council II with Feeneyism (AG 7 is aligned with EENS and LG 16 is not an explicit exception for AG 7 or EENS) they would have to affirm Feeneyite EENS (with AG 7 and LG 18,14 and 16 not being exceptions for AG 7). This would be politically incorrect with the Left. So they are not reporting on this issue. They continue to interpret Vatican Council II and all the Catechisms, with Cushingism instead of Feeneyism.
Even Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano seems comfortable with heretical and schismatic Cushingism.
So now Cardinal Fernandez will excommunicate Catholic families, who go for the Latin Mass at SSPX chapels, since no one will expose his Cushingism, via the media or canonical courts.
Edward Pentin and Diane Montagna will not write about this, for then they will be labeled, ‘Feeneyite’, even though this is the traditional theology of the Catholic Church, with Vatican Council II interpreted rationally and not irrationally.
At EWTN, Mother Angelica was originally Feeneyite on EENS but Cushingite on Vatican Council II. She did not know about Feeneyite Vatican Council II. She was replaced by Cushingites. The American Bishops Conference is still Cushingite.
So EWTN, politically, has to be heretical and schismatic on Vatican Council II. They are Cushingite on Vatican Council II, the Catechisms and EENS.
The doctrinal talks between the SSPX’s Fr. Jean Marie Gleize and Pope Benedict’s, Fr. Luiz Ladaria sj, were Cushingite. Summorum Pontificum was not Feeneyite on Vatican Council II.
The initial excommunication of Bishop Bernard Fellay was Cushingite and a potential-second one will also be Cushingite. He does not defend himself with a Feeneyite Vatican Council II.
It’s sad - traditionalist families in France , for example, do not oppose the cardinals and bishops, with a Feeneyite interpretation of VC2.The Ecclesia Dei communities in France could all agree on one point: LG 16 is invisible in 2026.This should be enough for a beginning. It should start a new movement in the Catholic Church.
I live in a poor house (Casa Serena) of the Missionaries of Charity Contemplative Brothers of Mother Teresa, Largo Preneste, Rome. I cannot place big advertisements in the newspapers. Una Voce can. But Dr. Joseph Shaw is as Cushingite as Cardinal Vincent Nichols and the English bishops.

The Catholic Church is the one, true Church of God (UR 3). Catholics are the new people of God (NA 4). Outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation from Hell (CCC 845, 846, 1257).
Vatican Council II is orthodox, Feeneyite and Magisterial, in harmony with the Magisterium over the centuries - even when Pope Leo is Cushingite, schismatic and political.
