The current state of the visible institution of the Catholic Church prophesied by Our Lady of Garabandal

On 29 September 1978, Father Francis Benac, S.J., interviewed Mari Loli at her home in Massachusetts.
Fr. Benac: Did the Blessed Virgin speak of communism?
Mari Loli: Our Lady spoke several times about communism. I don’t remember how many times, but She said that a time would come when it would seem that communism had mastered or engulfed the whole world. I think it was then that She told us that priests would have difficulty saying Mass, and talking about God and divine things.
Fr. Benac: Did Our Lady ever speak of people being put to death?
Mari Loli: What Our Lady said was that priests would have to go into hiding but I didn’t see whether they were being killed or not. She didn’t exactly say they would be killed, but I’m sure they would be martyred.
Fr. Benac: Your mother told me that one night you were upstairs with your father and that you cried and cried for one hour. Afterwards your father said to her: “I have just seen the most touching sight. Loli was crying the whole time while saying, ‘Oh, it’s going to be like that? People are going to suffer like that? Oh, make me suffer!’” Do you remember what you said at the time?
Mari Loli: It was all related to communism and what is going to happen in the Church and to the people because all these things are to have repercussions amongst the people. When the Church suffers confusion, the people are going to suffer too. Some priests who are communists will create such confusion that people will not know right from wrong.

Q: Do you remember what the Blessed Mother said about the communist tribulation that is to precede the Warning?
A: It would look like the communists have taken over the whole world and it would be very hard to practice the religion, for priests to say Mass or for the people to open the doors of the churches.
Q: Is that what you meant when you said that it would seem as though the Church had disappeared?
A: Yes.
Q: You said that it would be very difficult for priests to say Mass. Was this something that the Blessed Mother told you or was it something that you thought yourself because of the communist tribulation?
A: From what I remember, it was something She said.

Mrs. Christine Bocabeille asked Mari Loli: “If you are not allowed to tell me the exact year [of the Warning], perhaps you could tell me approximately when it will happen.”
Mari Loli: “Yes, it will be at that time when the world will most need it.”
Christine: “When is that?”
Mari Loli: “When Russia will unexpectedly and suddenly overrun and overwhelm a great part of the free world. God does not want this to happen so quickly. In any case the Warning will come when you will see that Holy Mass cannot be celebrated freely anymore; then it will be that the world will most need the intervention of God.”

June 18, 1965 - The Last Message of Our Lady of Garabandal delivered by St. Michael the Archangel on behalf of Our Lady: [delivered 173 days or 5 months, 20 days before the Closing of Second Vatican Council]
"As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one. Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is flowing over.
Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask for His forgiveness with sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your Mother, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask you to amend your lives. You are now receiving the last warnings.
I love you very much and do not want your condemnation. Pray to us with sincerity and we will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the Passion of Jesus."
Antonia Gonzalez (Conchita's aunt) stated, "I have also heard them say that if we do not amend our lives, Russia will rule the world. Yes, they said all that, in front of me, during their ecstasy. And also that some big Chastisement would come. Conchita often repeated it. She also talked about the cardinals - that they would go against the Pope."
