Francis Removes Tyrannical Bishop
In a surprise move on 14 March, Francis accepted the resignation of Monsignor Declan Lang, 73, who was Bishop of Clifton, England, for the past 23 years.
His successor is the Dean of Clifton Cathedral, Reverend Bosco MacDonald.
Monsignor Lang became infamous after Traditionis Custodes for being the only diocese in the country where Holy Mass was completely banned, including at the Glastonbury Benedictine monastery. Lang is regarded as anti-Catholic and tyrannical.
It's unclear what prompted his resignation.
