I witnessed to a very nice Christian, in my country, it is not uncomon, to hear gun fights, in certain parts of our city's.....this is the wild west, I live in. And as she told me, America is moving away from Christ, I agreed with her, and told her, that it reminds me, of what happened, to Jesus, when He gave the Bread of Life Discourse in John 6. And then I told her the Catholic interpretation, and she about fainted. She didn't know what to say. Because people, like Fundamentalists, Lutherans, and Mormons, make my job, much harder than it should be... I told, her, people, leaving Christ, is nothing new, his own didn't recieve Him, and his disciples, wouldn't accept, His saying, about "You must eat my body, and Blood. " Obviously, He was rejected, at that point, but did not back, down and call this a symbol. The reason, the woman freaked out, and looked at me, real puzzled, is because many...many....Christians, Protestants, Fundamentalist, Mormons, don't under stand, there own Bible. The reason, we are very hard core Roman Catholics, and shun, any other dogma, is because, we are THE CHURCH. Again, I ask, you to tell me, what justify's, your position for Not being Catholic. When it is very obvious, that if you look at scripture, all the Sacraments, are revealed, I hardly think, you have the Sacrament of Confession and Reconciliation availeable to you. But yet, that was the first thing, the Lord did, when he appeared in the upper Room. He breathed on His Apostles, and commisioned them, with the same power as He was commisioned by His Father, and then did what?????? He told them, to go and disciple the world, and whatever sins are forgiven, are forgiven, and whatever sins are retained are Retained, AND HE SAID, I WILL BE WITH YOU TO THE END, you have the power, and authority, to forgive sins, and retain sins, the same as Me....in the Church. "Is not that Church against which the gates of hell shall not prevail(Math.) the true Church? Nevertheless there are therein men who have to be loosed from their sins, and others whose sins have to be retained, as our LORD shows us in the promise and the power he gave to S. Peter in this matter. Those whose sins are retained--are they not wicked and reprobate? Indeed, the reprobate are precisely those whose sins are retained, and by the elect we ordinarily mean those whose sins are pardoned. Now, that those whose sins S. Peter had power to forgive or to retain were in the CHURCH is evident; for THEM THAT ARE OUTSIDE THE CHURCH ONLY GOD WILL JUDGE(1COR.V.I3). THOSE THEREFORE OF WHOM S. PETER WAS TO JUDGE WERE NOT OUTSIDE THE CHURCH BUT WITHIN, THOUGH AMONST THEM THERE WERE SOME REPROBATE. (SAINT FRANCIS DE SALES). What does that mean, Karpov89, that means, the Church, has the power and authority, of Jesus Christ. There is no other Church on the face of the earth, with the same authority. Not the Lutherans, the Mormons, the Baptists, the Episcopalians, the Jehovah Witnesses's....they are all started by men, that REBELLED FROM THE PILLAR AND BULWARK OF TRUTH...AS ST. PAUL, SO STRONGLY STATES......now, if you want me, to look at what one of our Saints like St. Francis De Sales says, which I just quoted, and then compare that to what Martin Luther, a failed Catholic Priest, and failed Monk, says....why should I convert to the Lutheran Church. On what grounds, or on what argument, do you find, scripturally to justify, my conversion. And if you can't give one, why are you bringing Lutherism, into a Warrior filled Roman Catholic Site??

Well I do not know how conservative this is just that it is catholic (and not SSPX?!!). I was not the first to publish lutheran liturgy here. And I maintain that also conservative people should be able to express themselves in a friendly manner.

"HE WHO HEARS YOU (PETER) HEARS ME, AND HE WHO REJECTS YOU, REJECTS ME, AND HE WHO REJECTS ME, REJECTS HIM WHO SENT ME (LK10:16)" iT COULD NOT BE CLEARER: THE PROTESTANT WHO REJECTS THE HEAD, REJECTS CHRIST HIMSELF, AND SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED THE NAME CHRISTIAN.
