Hindsight is a beautiful commodity to acquire. Just think, if America hadn't 'tested' the A-bomb, we wouldn't have known how dangerous it was. Of course, it would have left the 'field' wide open for Nazi Germany to exploit. Now that would have been wise on America's part, wouldn't it have just? As for the 'new' diplomatic tool of 'detente' that emerge closely on the heels of the 'atomic age,' well just maybe America should have left Communist Russia to take over the rest of the world. Come to think of it, "Its errors, have now spread throughout the rest of the world" only, someone forgot to tell Catholic Biden, or indeed, Catholic Francis and seemingly any other Catholic notary, apart from an exceptional few. Yep! Hindsight is a wonderful gift to have.
