Francis Speaks of Economics While Sacrilege Continues
Photo ~ Pro-abortion and pro-homosexual California Governor Brown receives Communion from Bishop Michael Barber, S.J., of Oakland at the bishop’s installation Mass on May 25, 2013.
The picture of Gov. Jerry Brown receiving communion does not tell the whole story. Bishop Barber left the altar and went to Gov. Brown who was in the front pew and gave the Blessed Host of Gov. Brown. Gov. Brown did not even have to leave the pew. The whole thing disgusted me and as a result of his actions, I have no respect for Bishop Barber. What was he thinking. His action spoke volumes and what his thoughts on abortion are and how he condones it. In his homily, he also extolled the virtues of Gov. Brown’s Jesuit education. God help us all if this is how our clergy feel and think. Catholics are truly in trouble when not only our politicians promote abortion but our clergy does also by their words and actions.
