Blasphemous German Synod: Francis Has Only Mild Concerns

On 4th January Francis received a delegation of German journalists. He told them that "in order not to go astray", the German bishops' synodal path should be guided by the Gospel and the Holy Spirit and not by "the spirit of the times".

He added that the life of faith should not be understood as "something relative only to one's own cultural and national sphere" [as Francis suggests with his homosexual "blessing"].

Journalist Damian Thompson comments: "Francis apparently gives his blessing to Germany's 'synodal way' with some mild concern that it not get out of hand." In the spirit of Sodoma supplicans, however, it was only a non-liturgical private "blessing".

Among other blasphemies, the German Synod voted in favour of transvestite priests (sic).
