People don’t know what the Catholic Church stands for any more as the religion undergoes a “modernisation process” in hopes of making the church more relevant. Sky News contributor Rocco Loiacono joined Sky News host Cory Bernardi to discuss the church’s decreasing donations and memberships. “At the moment what we’re seeing is a process of the church going woke, going broke financially but also going broke spiritually,” Mr Loiacono said. “There’s no spiritual dimension anymore and when that spiritual dimension is lacking, people find no reason to be attracted to the church and its message.”
