African Cardinal Urges Europe to "Close the Tap" of Immigration

Ghana born Cardinal Peter Turkson said it is high time to "close the tap" of African immigration into Europe, which has reached new records in recent days, and instead to focus on migrants’ countries of origin. He noted that the vast majority of African countries are not war zones from which the populations must necessarily flee, "In my opinion, we can change things in order to keep young people where they are."

Turckson is the Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development he made this statement, when presenting to the media in Rome a conference organised by his dicastery on 3rd and 4th April: “Perspectives of the Integral Human Development Service 50 years after the Populorum progressio”.

Cd. Turkson, SJW Extraordinaire, sees his revenues drying up and the faucet being turned off to Africa as welfare is redirected from Africa to Italy, et al. Add to his concern when Trump walked away from the Paris Accord global warming gravy train and you realize his 'call to action'.
