Cardinal: German Synod Is Mass Apostasy

The decisions of the German Synod are a "mass apostasy from Holy Scripture and Tradition, the sources of the faith revealed by God", Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, 93, told LifeSiteNews.com (19 September).

In the German Synod, Brandmüller sees a "rebellion of man against his Creator." For him, this is a "fatal grasp for the fruit of the forbidden tree" that leads to blood and tears.

Brandmüller is disturbed that bishops in such large numbers have forgotten the oath they swore before they were ordained priests and bishops.

He believes that the punishment will come through "the armies of the Prophet from Mecca" who will leave the churches in smoke and rubble.
