Francis in Hospital (Update)

Francis was taken by ambulance to the Gemelli polyclinic in Rome. The audiences scheduled for the next two days were cancelled.

He held his regular Wednesday general audience in St. Peter's Square this morning. Immediately afterwards he returned to his residence, but suddenly cancelled the interview he was supposed to record for the programme A Sua Immagine with presenter Lorena Bianchetti.

According to Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni, the hospitalisation is allegedly due to "some previously scheduled checks."

This was a lie. According to IlSismografo, Francis suffered from respiratory failure after lunch which could have been caused by a heart attack. He is not in a cardio-respiratory unit and will most likely face further, more in-depth examinations tomorrow.

The Washington Post and others say Francis has a respiratory infection. That is B.S. I'm not even a doctor, but a person is not fine one minute, and rushed to the hospital by ambulence like he was, the next minute.
The Vatican is covering things up. I believe Il Sismografo. Sudden respiratory failure could be from a heart attack. Also Bergoglio is very fat (which could be caused by another issue). Someone who has diverticulitis doesn't/shouldn't overeat. He probably has worse than that.
I don't wish anyone dead, but if he dies, I hope we get a CATHOLIC pope who loves or at least is open and positive towards the tradition of the Church. Pray for the repose of his soul if he dies.
If he doesn't......this may hasten his decision to resign. Which would also be a blessing.

The Italians have a saying: The pope is never sick until he's dead

Francis is on his way out probably. Let us all pray for new Pope who is a Catholic.....not a Francis II, or anything like him!!! Someone who loves tradition!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

John Fritz Logan

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori I have been praying for you. I share your hopes.

@John Fritz Logan -Thank you very much for your prayers. I think that you and I, and millions upon millions of faithful Catholics, are praying for the same outcome of this. 🙏 🙏 🙏

We don't wish for his death. Remember Benedict XV1 resigned due to poor health. We just want "Pope Francis" to step down and vacate the chair of Peter

Wishing for someone's death is bad.... thinking that he very well might is just a vaild point worth preparing people for. At his age, and I read that now he has significant other complications, a recovery is problematic. He may recover, but he will definitely not be the same, and at his age, things like this brings continued complications and rapid decline/death to the realm of the extremely possible.

Dr Bobus

It's very simple: Someone can pray for a new pope.. Not necessary to want him dead.

Blasphemous “Death Wishes” for Christ’s Vicar on Earth by the freemason spawn of the apostate Luther who all hate the Holy Father in…4…3…2…

Louis IX

Or not…

@SonoftheChurch -Really a ridiculous posting, Buddy Man!! None of us good, faithful traditional leaning Catholics are freemason spawn of the apostate Luther. You might be instead describing actually Pope Francis, and his homo-loving or even active homo supporters. Francis and his small gang of supporters are the real apostates. Calling the millions and millions who are against his destruction of the Church that is laughable. Considering the stats alone from 10 years of Francis, I suggest you may need to seek a psych. 😂 😂 😂 🤪

SonoftheChurch

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori No…what is “ridiculous” is your diabolical desire for the death of the Pope and your vile hatred of the Holy Father, which you and others who are the freemason spawn of Luther, spew out like bile in your comments constantly. You have the utter gall to falsely claim to be a “good, faithful, traditional leaning Catholic” yet your egregious words speak otherwise and belie the true nature of your hell-birthed enmity against Holy Mother Church and its Chief Shepherd.
No TRUE adherent of authentic Tradition would harbor such vile animosity in their heart against the reigning Supreme Pontiff, regardless of what he says or does. It is the very antithesis of Tradition to hate and despise the very Rock that Christ built the Church upon, even if one does not always agree with or understand all that the Holy Father says or does. No Saint or Doctor of the Church ever dared to express such hate-filled blasphemy as you and other sons of Belial like you who feel the fiendish liberty to profanely express incessantly and publicly, although many of them, under the unction of the Holy Spirit, admonished and reproved the Popes who ruled the Church during countless crises throughout the millennia.
It is blazingly clear you are absolutely void of knowledge and are without genuine formation in the infallible Dogma of the Church’s magisterium regarding the sanctity and primacy of the Bishop of Rome as Saint Peter’s Successor. Every Supreme Pontiff and Ecumenical Council of the Church has affirmed the inviolable charism of the Papal Office and he who holds it, reigning upon the Throne of Saint Peter over the whole Church. And there are NO EXCEPTIONS, regardless of your personal opinions or feelings about the Servant of the Servants of God legitimately elected to the Office at any given time or era.
You, of tiny mind and debased spirit, who dare to castigate and disparage our Lord’s own Vicar on this earth, as if you were empowered by the Holy Ghost in your monumental folly to judge him, tread perilously upon the pathway of hell, not one wit behind the unclean sodomites and heretics whom you claim to abhor. Your iniquities and sacrilege in denigrating the Holy Father are no less abominable than their perversion, in that you fight against the very Captain of the Barque of Salvation, who alone has been given the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and has the power and authority to bind and loose whatsoever on earth and it is bound and loosed in Heaven as well. THAT is what all true Catholics believe, if they are not heretical apostates.
Listen, I know that things are very difficult in the Church right now, and more than ever before we need a miraculous intervention of the Hand of the Lord to deliver us. But we have not been called to judge the Holy Father, irrespective of his words or actions. Such judgement is above and beyond our competence. No human or group of humans on this planet has the divine authority to do that regardless of the circumstances. Canon law makes no legally binding, juridical provisions whatsoever for the judgement or correction of a reigning Pope. Instead, as “good, faithful, traditional leaning Catholics” we are called to remain in submission and obedience to him, with filial love and affection for him, praying for him daily, even as we see the demons who surround him in their futile quest to drown both him and the Church he was elected to rule in their own filth and deception. Christ’s promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church still stands and we must remain steadfast in our faith, holding to that promise. Because it is impossible for Him to lie, for He IS Truth.
Thus, in this dark hour my friend, we are called to holiness and to a deeper devotion to Christ; not to hate the Holy Father and wish he were dead. Such thoughts and desires are intrinsically sinful and born from the the womb of Satan himself.

First off, I never wished Francis dead. If you read some of my posts, I don't wish anyone dead. But it is very possible that this time he will.....or very soon.
He and his associates agenda has destroyed the Church. To speak of him and his agenda as if he were God's champion and God's anointed is mentally sick. Even Francis himself has renounced the title of "Vicar of Christ". He doesn't believe in it. He does not believe in the traditions of the Church, the Magisterium or Deposit of the Faith throughout the ages. All he and his homo crew believe in is "according to Vatican II", which is in and of itself suspect of heresy.
No joke, your rant and vitriolic diatribe really proves to me that your thinking is seriously unbalanced. Scary. Really. Seek help.

SonoftheChurch

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Are you that intellectually challenged? What part of Pastor Aeternus do you not understand? You don’t get to judge or condemn the Pope, EVER. That’s not your place, buddy boy. The last time I checked no Conclave of Cardinal-Electors had made you Bishop of Rome. The Petrine ministry is not subject to your jurisdiction nor to your miserly personal opinions and observations. You can’t seem to get it through your thick skull that the one who is duley elected and chosen to sit on the Throne of Saint Peter as the Supreme Pontiff holding the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and ruling over the whole Church, with the mandate from Christ Himself to bind and loose whatsoever he wills, cannot be judged while he reigns by any human or human agency. Any thought, concept, word or deed contrary to that infallible Dogma is heretical. And EVERY true Catholic must embrace and accede to that Dogma as an unconditional, essential and immutable element of their faith, and ALL of the genuine Faithful who have been true to the Doctrine of Christ have fully held it as such throughout the life of the Church, REGARDLESS of the words or actions of any Pope at any given time or era. Christ’s unassailable declaration to Saint Peter and ALL of his Successors still holds fast to this very day and hour, and is just as certain and secure as when He spoke it while He was physically present here on earth: “I have prayed for you that your faith FAIL NOT.” Do you even know the meaning of the words “fail not”? Or do you even believe the promises of Christ or do you think He lied to Saint Peter? You can’t believe our Lord and still speak the vile words of evil that you vomit out against the Pope each and every day.
You claim to be Catholic but your comments here reveal the stunning invincibility of your galling ignorance of Holy Mother Church’s Dogmatic magisterium and the Deposit of Faith handed down from the Apostles themselves and countless Saints, Martyrs and Doctors of the Church. You also claim to be a “History” teacher but are grossly void of any relative cognizance of the Church’s millennia-long history and that of those who ruled over it. And make no mistake, it is YOUR intense hatred of the Holy Father that is the “mental sickness” here. You display it on this website everyday by your insane, incessant, insidious comments that you gleefully post, ranting and raving like a rabies-infected, vermin-infested madman, with blaring screeches you compose in your arrogant idiocy to castigate the very Rock itself that the Church is built upon. It’s madness. And it is not only your mind that is darkened with degeneracy, but in your constant and obsessive profanities against the Holy Father you manifest for all to see that your soul too is afflicted with a dark, putrid, rancid malaise. It entraps your heart like a spider’s web, drawing you down into an abyss of apostasy and to your eternal damnation. For it is impossible to remain in the surety of the salvific Barque of Peter when you hate and reject its Captain. You cannot hate the Vicar of Mary’s own Son and call yourself “Catholic.”
Sorrowfully but undeniably, it is quite evident that you are regressed mentally, and beset with some sort of clinical psychosis or psychological disorder; or perhaps you are just a simpleton with diminished mental faculties and capacities. I don’t know. But I do pity any child who has to suffer you as their “teacher.” It is a powerful indictment against our decrepit educational system here in America that you are allowed anywhere near a classroom containing impressionable children. In charity, I pray you will seek both the spiritual assistance and the professional help and treatment that you so deeply and desperately need, Kenjiro; and that, for the sake of your endangered immortal soul, you will repent of your iniquities and do penance, forsaking your bitter hatred, ever striving for holiness and entrusting yourself into the mercies of our Mother.

Sorry, but Idon't believe this from your post "he one who is duley elected and chosen to sit on the Throne of Saint Peter as the Supreme Pontiff holding the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and ruling over the whole Church, with the mandate from Christ Himself to bind and loose whatsoever he wills, cannot be judged while he reigns by any human or human agency."
Using your logic, if Pope Francis chose to allow for everything the filth German Synodal Way stood for, including homo blessings and women priests, that would be fine. No thanks. I think you are wrong, and I know millions or others would also.
You must be a super-Francis suppporter, in a panic over the loss of this particular Pope. Meanwhile, I've read that many are praying for Francis to pass on to his reward....especially in Italy.
As much as you'd like to think otherwise....he is not a beloved "Holy Father". The last one who had that reputation was JPII ( being widely loved).....and before him, the great Venerable Pope Pius XII. Not Francis.

John Fritz Logan

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Please pray that if God wills it and if Francis has not committed blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, he may fully repent (or have repented) and that a new conclave may come as fast as is in accordance with his will. Maybr pray for the intercession of Cardinal Pell.

Jason l

Holy Spirit DO YOUR THING, we all pray and quickly!

Bruni’s statement only makes sense if for some reason checks were moved up to today. I doubt they plan interviews and audiences at the same time as doctor appointments.
