More Sanctions, More Sacrifices: But Not for the Chaos Politicians

The EU nomenklatura, which is currently destroying European industry and demanding "sacrifices" from the people, is raising its own wages, even though it has rebuffed governments and companies not to raise wages in the face of inflation.

EU civil servants will receive almost 7% more pay. The salary increase is retroactive to 1 July.

In addition to the high salaries, EU officials will receive high expatriation , child, furniture and household allowances.

• The unelected President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, receives around €2,000 more per month.

• Members of the European Parliament receive €623 more per month.

• EU Commissioners receive €1,460 more per month.

• MEP Guy Verhofstadt, one of the top five earners in the Parliament and a leading anti-Hungarian, anti-Polish, and anti-Russian politician, renovated his 17th century listed building in the city centre of Ghent, Belgium, receiving half of the €820,000 from the Belgian taxpayer.
