In my own experience, the soft version of a schismatic attitude described by Dr. Imam, I have found mostly among the Novus Ordo Catholics who shun Trads from diocean events, gatherings, and conferences when they discover they attend a SSPX chapel. I was even denied to be a godparent for confirmation for a Novus Ordo Catholic b/c I attend SSPX (But being a Trans or practicing homosexual godparent is o.k.). I attend at times diocean events, and diocean Latin masses on occasion and attempt to be in communion with all Catholics, unless they are the ones who hate the traditional mass, but overall it is Novus Ordo Catholics who have this softer informal form of schismatic attitude toward traditionalists.
