The Truth About Medjugorje.
"Medjugorje," said the priest, "is the devil's plan for the pious." It wasn't surprising to hear a priest talk about Medjugorje this way. But it was surprising to hear a Franciscan talk this way, especially at Medjugorje itself. It just shows how things have changed over the years. This man had been there for over ten years and in that period of time had gone from believing that Medjugorje was a visitation of the Mother of God to where he now believed that it was a demonic hoax, and I was listening to the story of his spiritual odyssey. "The whole point of this," he said gesturing toward St. James Church in one direction and all of the buildings, drug centers, souvenir shops, "orphanages" in the other, "is to take a human oracle and promote it to the status of something divine, and then to excommunicate everyone who doesn't believe it. This is another Jesus." In early 1997 Network 5 began an investigation that culminated in Visions on Demand, the first TV documentary that deals honestly with the financial and spiritual manipulation behind what promises to be one of the greatest spiritual hoaxes of the 20th century. Network 5 later joined forces with E. Michael Jones, an American journalist who has investigated Medjugorje for the last 10 years.

Rome produced a declaration about Medjugorje: it is not a judgment on the apparitions as such, but a judgment on the fruits it produces. And the good fruits are many, as anyone can see. I believe in the authenticity of the apparitions of Medjugorje, but the Vatican does not and will not pass judgment on that according to the new guidelines. (Thank God!)
The truth about Medjugorje is Mary, but no one will be excommunicated who does not believe in the apparitions because private revelations are never binding. So this Franciscan priest is talking nonsense in all he says.
P.S.: This Franciscan priest must be very exceptional. In all the years I come in Medjugorje I have never heard a Franciscan priest speaking negatively about Medjugorje. on the contrary: every year the Franciscans have a lot of novices who all believe in Medjugorje.

EMJ is absolutely spot on! The Medjugorje diabolical debacle is one of the most serious issues facing the Church today and that's saying alot given the many issues we are faced with in this time of Great Apostasy.
But the Anti-Mary at Medjugorje preceding the Anti-Christ is without a doubt the most important. God Bless the good work he has done in exposing this evil deception.

From the beginning, the Bishop stated this was apparition was false. Why do the Roman Catholic faithful continue to disobey his authority? Do they think they know more than the Bishop?

Well, that's not how it went: the local bishop first believed, and then changed his mind... (so this is already strange). BTW, I've been there many times (last time 2006), so I can't tell what's currently going on, but Medjugorje was sure authentic for the first 25 years.
I also read the (great!) book written by Mirjana (my preferred seer): very convincing!
Other testimonies:
* my most fruitful confessions of my whole lifetime happened to happen in Medjugorje!
* Pope John Paul II. clearly believed in Medjugoje
* Mother Teresa believed in Medjugorje (she once talked with the founder of "Radio Maria" (Italy) about this event, this is the Radio that was founded because of Medjugorje

It's a hoax and satanic. The "seers" are liars. Medjugorje is FAKE!!!!

It is no theological criterium, I know, but when I look at the face of Dr. Michael Jones and at the faces of the seers of Medjugorje, then I put my money on the latter....
