Thanks ACLumsden for your comment. Dumitru is very diversified in his compositions - he has several compositions that one thinks came from the pen of different composers. We put some other youtube videos of his music if you'd like to search for malpen04 dumitru stanescu.
Hope he'll let us have more of his compositions to share with others.

I love the open harmony of the cadences at the begining and, as this piece progresses, the development of semi-contrapunctal moments, towards a definite 'major' conclusion. It rather resembles a vocal 'organum' in structure; the organ works of Mr Philip Glass is also quite similar. Beautiful, thanks!
